The special quality about this instrument, is that the light sensitivity of the switches are individually adjustable, and creates thereby a sort light-depended attack, sustain and decay on the signal they are chopping. |

PLAAT ... Is, like the Whiner's, a simple feedback module, but with the difference, that the audio feedback is send through a thin metal plate (PLAAT=plate) and interupted by a fast rotating mirror object. This version of PLAAT also feature video. The videosignal is, like the audiosignal, put in a simple feedback system (camera & screen loop) and interupted by the rotating mirror object.
